New School

Reanne started at Meldrum Acadamy on Tuesday, she was nervous and excited at the same time and was awake at 6 oclock in the morning but that was only the first day the rest of the week I had to wake her. She has settled in well and enjoying making new friends her favourite subject so far this week was design and tech. She has been very tierd all week but Im sure she will get use to it

Trip down south

Reanne and I have just been to Leicester for a week to visit Family , we took a trip to the coast for the  day the weather was awful but the girls still went in the sea.

Reanne's won the cup!

Reanne was presented with this Stuart Gray Memorial Cup at the end of term assembly at Meldrum Primary school her last day at this school. The cup was given to meldrum Primary school in 1984 by the parents of Stuart Gray who died at the age of 11 from leukaemia in his last year of Primary school. He enjoyed writing stories so this was set up as a story writing competion every year for p7's/p6;s . So Reanne was clever enough to win it this year with a story called Angus the forgetful Otter

When we got back down I managed to get quite close to the Deer for a photo !

Finally at the top of Meikle pap 980m what an achievement but oops! I forgot we have to get down yet, thats another 6 miles !

And of course not forgetting Defur!

This is when we reached Lochnagar and what a beautiful view. We stopped here to have our lunch and take in the views

Trip to Lochnagar

At the weekend we went on a trip to Lochnagar which is near Ballater . We climb to the top of eikle Pap which is 980m and about 6 miles to the top in the picture Nick is pointing to the sumit we eventualy reached it took us about 2 and half hours

Trip to Braemar

Last Saturday we went for a day out to Braemar (Mar Lodge Estate) It was a beautiful day had a picnic by the river and went rock hopping which was fun . we threw Defur in the water I'm not sure he was too impressed! We also saw Deer quite close up which was great, such a beautiful day and we had a great time.

Holiday in Wales

We have just spent a week in Wales at lucy & Daves new place(Nicks sister & family)a farm with 90 acres of land so plenty of space. Had a great time, weather was good too. Reanne got to feed the 2 lambs that they have here are a few pics
